This episode really made me realize how little I know about Canadian history. I really appreciated your angle of putting Cronenberg’s first movie in the context of the Canadian film in the 70s. And Paul Corupe was a great guest!
Looking forward to next month. Haven’t watched The Shining in a few years.
I’m still gonna listen to this, but I have to say, I can’t relate very well to someone who chooses Shivers over Dead Ringers.
